They my not have known the art of apologizing and forgiving, but these are traits that people are taught from a very small age. Forgiveness is one or the toughest tasks known to man, whereas others may argue needing to apologize is tougher. A lot of times pride gets in the way of an awesome apology and stubbornness take precedence over forgiving and accepting an apology. Thus being said, apologies and forgiveness are a tough pill to swallow, and this essay will discuss ffective ways to apologize, what the Bible says about forgiving others and why Christians should forgive. Those of Christian faith know that Jesus Christ gave his life on the Cross to forgive Christians of their sins, and when he forgave his people he instilled in them the art of forgiving. He never stated accepting an apology or forgiving someone of their wrong doing would be easy, but the constantly says in his word forgive others as Christ forgave you. As stated before, Jesus Christ gave his life on the Cross to forgive Christians of their sins, and that is when the cross became the standard for Christian living. The Bible reads, If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me (Luke 9:23). This portion of scripture is explaining the Christian belief of laying down all your burdens and faults to follow Jesus. Christians are not supposed o punish themselves for things they may have done, but trusting in Jesus and the fact that he has already been to the cross.
